Training Information:
The GFOA has now issued 34 best practices on budgeting. These best practices have been extremely well received by budget professionals at all levels of government, both in the United States and Canada. Recently, the GFOA revised the materials(criteria explanations) used in its Distinguished Budget Presentation Awards Program to assist budget professionals seeking to take full advantage of these best practices to improve their own budget document. This two-hour interactive internet training event will combine lecture and examples to thoroughly cover these important changes.
