  Managing the Budget Process

Training Information:

Participants will be provided with the tools and techniques to coordinate and manage the budget development process (operating and capital). Participants will analyze the key elements of the budget development process and discover successful methods for each step, including obtaining public input, revenue forecasting, coordinating departmental budget submissions, and communicating key budget messages to the governing body and public. Participants will learn ways to more effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and present the budget in a way that allows the organization to best meet its goals, objectives, and mission.
